School and outreach workshops
School group visits to Kingston Museum or Local History Room are charged at £2.50 per child; workshops held in school are charged at £3 per child.
Travel costs to Borough schools are £10 per visit. Please ask if your school is outside the Borough. There is generally no charge for an Assembly visit other than travel costs.

Holiday activities, lectures and events
Some activities must be booked in advance. Others are advertised as drop-in events. Please see our 'Lectures and Events' page for booking and charging details for individual events.
Talks to community groups
If you would like a member of staff to give an illustrated presentation or talk to your group, please get in touch with us on 020 8547 6460, kingston.museum@rbk.kingston.gov.uk or write to Kingston Museum & Heritage Service, North Kingston Centre, Richmond Road, Kingston upon Thames KT2 5PE. We do not generally charge a fixed fee but donations are welcomed. We suggest a minimum of £30.
Friends lectures
These are held in the Museum Art Gallery. There is no need to book. Please see the Friends page for details of the annual programme or pick up one of our 2007 programme leaflets.
Entrance is free but the Friends suggest a donation of around £1.50 per person towards expenses including tea and coffee.
