Learning and Enjoying at Kingston Museum

Kingston Museum brings history to life with its regular displays, talks, workshops and outreach programmes for schools, colleges and community groups.  We welcome group and school visits to the Museum and Local History Room but can also visit you at your own venue.

You can explore history through our handling collections of real and replica artefacts, replica clothing, oral history, centuries-old archives, a comprehensive local history research collection and online resources.  We have a range of standard workshops for schools but also arrange special sessions, activities and events linked to our temporary exhibition programme, half term, school holidays and national and local events and festivals.

We work with the whole community and welcome disabled people.

Our Museum Education Officer post is currently vacant.  In the meantime please contact us on 020 8547 6756 or email: kingston.museum@rbk.kingston.gov.uk
