Volunteering in Libraries

The Kingston Library and Heritage Service has a number of volunteer opportunities to those who have skills they want to share.  To ensure that the person is adequately supported we ask that volunteers commit to between 6 months and 1 years, depending on the role.  See the volunteer policy below for details.

Rhyme Time Assistants (various branches)

To assist the children's librarian in running the Rhyme Time sessions for under 5s.  For branches and times please see our storytimes page:

Bookstart Assistant

We are looking for someone to help by providing administrative support for the national Bookstart programme operated by the Hook Library.  Hours and days are negotiable.
