We hold a drop in session for assisted information between 9.30 and 11am on Wednesdays at the Hook Centre. There will be no need to pre-book an appointment - just turn up to see us. We will have a wide range of self help materials as we know that many of our clients are able to sort out their own problems, if they have quick access to information about rights and responsibilities. We will be able to help you to help yourself.
If you have an emergency such as being faced with losing your home, or having no money, or experiencing domestic abuse then we will make an appointment for you at our Kingston site. If you need an advice worker to help you to sort out your problems, you can phone us on 0844 826 9701 for a 'Gateway Assessment' where you details will be taken so that a caseworker can contact you to help you out.

Registered charity No. 289765
The care scheme is a free service run by volunteers to help when family and the statutory services can't, not to replace, but to fill the gap.
They provide assistance with shopping and transport for doctors appointments, hairdressers etc, visits to the housebound, small garden jobs, and minor house repairs. The care scheme can only function well if we have sufficient volunteers and the donations we rely on. If you feel you have a few hours to spare, however limited, your assistance would be appreciated.
Contact Information
If you need our services or any information, please call 020 8397 6298, when a duty officer will give you any information, 9am to 12 noon Monday to Friday. At other times there is an answerphone to take messages. Please leave your name and number and we will get back to you.

Open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday the Council Helpdesk offers information and advice about a range of Kingston Council services. Visit them to pick up leaflets and forms; report a fault; book evening classes and play-scheme places; make online payments for a range of council services and much more.
They can also help if you have any queries about the Hook Centre or wish to book one of the ground floor meeting/interview rooms. The maximum capacity for the meeting room is 24 people and for the interview room 2 people.
