The Community Hall on the first floor can accommodate accomodate 80 people standing, 60 seated. The Hall has air-conditioning and is available to hire at competitive rates for a range of community uses including children's parties and leisure classes.
The ground floor Meeting Room (and adjacent interview rooms) also have air-conditioning and are used by a number of agencies and organisations and can be hired for meetings, activities and events.

The Care Scheme is a free service run by volunteers, to help when family and the statutory services can't, not to replace but to fill the gap. They provide assistance with shopping, providing transport for doctor's appointments, hairdresser's etc., visits to the housebound, small garden jobs and minor house repairs.
The Care Scheme can only function well if we have sufficient volunteers. If you feel you have time to spare, however limited, your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Please call the number above.

Open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday the Council Helpdesk offers information and advice about a range of Kingston Council services. Visit them to pick up leaflets and forms; report a fault; book evening classes and play-scheme places; make online payments for a range of council services and much more.
They can also help if you have any queries about the Hook Centre or wish to book one of the ground floor meeting/interview rooms. The maximum capacity for the meeting room is 24 people and for the interview room 2 people.

Chessington Housing Office hold surgeries in the Hook Centre.
Teenagers can come in and talk in confidence about any subject from exam pressures and careers advice to health and life style issues. Sessions are held every Tuesday 4 – 6pm and are open to anyone aged 13 – 19 years and parents of young people aged 13 – 19 years. Library resources are available to use to compliment the sessions.
