Do you Like Reading – Then Design Your Own Reading Group Here!
We are hoping to start a new monthly Youth Reading Group in one of our branches in the autumn. But where and when? If you’re aged between 11 and 18 and would be interested in coming along to a reading group like this then please use the contact details below to let us know your preference. The club could run after school one day, or on Saturdays. It could be held at any one of our seven branches. How often do you get the chance to set up your own club just the way you want it! Please contact Kate with your suggestions on 0208 547 6464 or email kate.priestley@rbk.kingston.gov.uk
Genshiken Manga book Group – update
The Genshiken Manga group at Hook Library has been temporarily suspended as we try to find a willing volunteer to run it. We have a good collection of Manga books and can use any of the libraries in the borough as a venue, although Hook library has the biggest collection. We also have a librarian who can host the club. But what we need is someone with a passion for Manga to choose the books and have something to say about them. Could it be you? Or would you like to run the club between a group of you? If so please contact Kate on 0208 547 6464 or email kate.priestley@rbk.kingston.gov.uk to chat about it.
