Facilities Management oversee and administer a number of library halls throughout the borough which are available for hire.
These are suitable for a variety of uses including community groups, business meetings, wedding receptions, and parties.
The halls differ in size and have various facilities to offer.
A separate refundable £150 surety is required for all bookings. This can be by cheque or credit card, details on application.
Hirers should arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for their familiarisation with fire procedures.
The Hirer will only be allowed to use the hall once staff have undertaken the fire familiarisation training with them including emergency procedure at the site, the location of fire exits and correct use of extinguishers.
Access to the halls will not be permitted without the training - i.e. the booking will be cancelled.
