Activities for children

10am - 10.30am and 10.40 - 11.10am YoBaby. Songs, rhymes and dancing fun with Shirley from YoBaby. Book in person at the library or phone 020 8547 5006.

2 - 4pm Advice on good reads for children. Crafts will also be available. For ages 0 - 12. Emma Burnside, Service Development Librarian: Children's Services, will be on hand to advise you.

Half term activities

Story Book Time

Monday 13 February 10.30 - 11am
To celebrate libraries and stories come and listen to magical tales with wonderful storybook characters. Please feel free to come dressed up as your favourite storybook character. For ages 3 - 7. Free.

Alice in Wonderland Crafts

13 February 11 - 12noon
Become the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter or the Queen of Hearts, from this classic children's storybook. Please feel free to come dressed up as your favourite storybook character. For ages 4 - 11. Tickets £1.50 available from the library. Booking advised.

Computer Classes

Get Online with Online Basics Beginners Computer Courses

The next 2 week FREE online beginners courses will run on Wednesday 21 March and 28 March, 10 - 11.30am. Help is available to get you started on the course and learn how to use the internet safely, how to search and how to use email. Tutorials are also available to practice your keyboard and mouse skills.

Rhyme Times

Tuesdays 10am to 10.20 and 10.40 - 11am during term-time only,
Rhyme Times get very busy and have limited spaces so please get there early.

Rock and Rhyme

Fun Rhymetime session aimed at Dads and male carers to enjoy rhymes and stories with their pre-school children - but mums are of course welcome too. Dates for 2012 are: 14 January 2012, 4 February, 10 March, 7 April, 5 May, 2 June, 30 June, 28 July, 25 August, 22 September, 20 October, 17 November and 15 December.

Adult Reading Group

Meetings are held on the last Tuesday of every month from 7pm to 8pm.
