What is the e-Ticketing Toolkit?
The toolkit is aimed at other local authorities who would like to launch their own online ticket sales system. The e-Ticketing toolkit allows you to create your own online ticketing system using the software provided in the toolkit.
Using the toolkit and Microsoft Commerce Server 2002, available on your Select CD's, you can install e-Ticketing in 10 minutes.
You can also read all about e-Ticketing in the case study.
Why is there an e-Ticketing Toolkit?
The eTicketing service offered by Kingston Council was produced as part of the Local e-Government National e-Pay project. One of the aims of this project is to share knowledge and experiences between local authorities to enable all authorities to provide services electronically. The company involved with the implementation of eTicketing was Ciber, who can also help you implement eTicketing locally.
