
The Centre has a lively atmosphere with a vast array of activities taking place both at the Centre and at other off site locations in South Wales and the Midlands region.
We cater for all levels of ability in the following activities:
The Centre also offers activities for Schools and Youth organisations, which include structured, accredited courses, one off taster sessions, end of term activity days/half days and residential courses.
The Centre is licensed under the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority as an activity provider. Licence details can be confirmed by calling the Licensing Authority on 02920 755715. Albany Park Canoe & Sailing Centre is also a British Canoe Union Approved Centre and is inspected and appraised by both organisations.
Courses take place throughout the year, adult courses are available at weekends. School bookings are usually accommodated during the day with after school activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme proving ever popular. There is also a young persons’ holiday scheme giving youngsters the opportunity to make full use of the facilities throughout the holiday periods.
The Centre runs many coaching courses for those wishing to pass on their skills and knowledge to others.
