As part of our commitment to the Tenant Services Authority Regulatory Framework, we have a number of standards that we continually strive to meet. Residents play an important role in how we shape, deliver and meet these Standards.
The Tenant Involvement and Empowerment Standard
This sets out how the Council will deliver its customer services, deal with complaints, and involve residents in the way we deliver our Housing Services. This Standard also ensures that all residents get equal access to the available services, taking into account the principles of equality and diversity.
The Home Standard
This sets out the quality of homes that we should provide and how we should repair and maintain them.
The Tenancy Standard
This sets out how the Council should allocate its homes and ensure that tenants are given the greatest possible security of tenure.
The Neighbourhood and Community Standard
This sets out how we will work in partnership with our tenants to keep local neighbourhoods and communal areas in every property that we own clean and safe. This Standard also outlines specific expectations for the Council to tackle and prevent anti-social behaviour.
The Value for Money Standard
This sets out how the Council will ensure that the Housing Services that are offered are effective and efficient.
