Kingston Tenant Finder Service is a service offered by the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. It aims to support and encourage private landlords to overcome the problems that can arise during the letting process and help landlords to let properties to people who need somewhere to live, predominantly families with children.
The Tenant Finder Service can also answer any queries you have about the law and what it says about the rights and duties of landlords and tenants. One of the main advantages for landlords is that they do not pay any fees and properties can be let very quickly. The free service offered to landlords includes:
- the identification and introduction of suitable tenants;
- advice about the reasonable market rent for the property;
- preparation of tenancy agreements; and
- a detailed inventory/schedule of condition at the commencement of the tenancy and inventory check-out at the end of the tenancy.
