Home Connections (Choice Based Lettings)
Choice Based Lettings is the way council and housing association homes are let in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames and improves choice for people in housing need. Homes available for letting are advertised weekly on the Kingston Home Connections website - see link below - and in Property Weekly.

- You can express your interest in being offered advertised homes you're eligible for by making a 'bid' for them. To make a bid you will need your User ID and PIN Number - if you do not have these, or have problems with bidding please phone 020 8547 5003 and ask to speak to an Allocations Officer.
- You can bid for homes you're interested in depending on the needs and size of your household and the letting criteria which is clearly shown on all advertisements.
- Your priority is based on what band you are in and your current housing need. There are 4 priority bands (more detailed information on the banding is set out in the related link - Priority Bands for Rehousing):
Band A - Emergency/top priority
Band B - Urgent need to move
Band C - Identified housing need
Band D - All other applicants
- Due to the shortage of houses available for letting we recommend you bid on flats and maisonettes as well.
