Cambridge Road Estate and Norbiton
What we are doing
Residents of both the Cambridge Road Estate and Cambridge Gardens, The Royal Borough of Kingston, the Kingston Primary Care Trust, Police and voluntary organisations have joined together in a Community Action Partnership (the CAP). The CAP aims to ensure that existing and new services are designed to meet residents' needs working together with local organisations to improve the quality of life on the estates.
The CAP approach is not about people in the council or the NHS deciding what is best for residents. It is about residents and workers deciding what the problems are and then finding ways to solve them.
