Our Self Assessment Service is available for older and disabled adults living in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.
Complete an assessment for equipment online that may assist you or someone you know if you live in the borough. You can also receive advice that is normally provided by professionals without the need for an appointment or a home visit. The advice and suggestions may help you resolve specific difficulties. Some resources will be available from the Council while others can be purchased.
The assessment takes account of specific personal capabilities and the home environment. Using this site in no way affects your eligibilitiy to access services in other ways.
The system is provided by ADL Smartcare Ltd and is called SmartAssist.
You can contact ADL Smartcare Ltd directly from within the SmartAssist System if you have any questions or issues with the system. Alternatively, please contact the Self Assessment Manager in Kingston at Bill.Brittain@rbk.kingston.gov.uk. We would welcome and encourage feedback from users of the system.
The Kingston Centre for Independent Living (020 8546 9603) and Age Concern Kingston (020 8942 8256) can also help you with your Self Assessment.
