Special collections

The Council provides two types of service for the collection of large unwanted households items.  There is a charge for these collections. This charge varies on the type and quantity of the items to be collected.

White Goods and Reusable Furniture

We currently have a partnership with Kingston Community Furniture and Appliance Re-use Centre (ARC) to collect, reuse where possible, or recycle any unwanted white goods (in any condition) and household furniture.

Bulky Rubbish

The Council provides a collection service for old, unusable items of furniture and bulky household waste.   This service does not cover large amounts of demolition waste or materials from home improvements.
