Small Quantities of Hazardous Waste

Hazardous Waste - asbestos and household and garden chemicalsKingston Council can advise on the disposal of small quantities of hazardous waste, such as asbestos, chemical weed killers, engine oil, paint and fluorescent tubes. Some of these items can be taken in small quantities to the Villiers Road Household Reuse and Recycling Centre

Large Quantities of Hazardous Waste

Advice can also be given on the removal of large quantities of hazardous waste. Please call Waste Management on 020 8547 5560 or email waste.management@rbk.kingston.gov.uk for more information.

The Villiers Road Recycling Centre is not licensed to take general or industrial hazardous waste. There is a charge for this service.

The City of London can arrange for hazardous waste collection (free up to a specified weight) from households, schools, registered charities, emergency services and private companies. Contact the City of London 020 7332 3433 for more information. They will advise on collection dates.
