Household Rubbish Collections
The Council collects rubbish every week from all domestic properties in the borough.
If you are not sure when your rubbish or recycling day is, you can find out by using our postcode search. Follow the link below then enter your postcode. The page that appears will show you all your local services, including your rubbish or recycling day. Alternatively, contact Environmental Services using the details at the bottom the the page.
Please place your refuse out before 7.00am on the day of collection.
Missed Collections
If your refuse or recycling has not been collected please contact the Waste Management team. Your items should then be picked up within 24 hours of the missed collection. Or complete an online form at the bottom of the page
Recycling
If you do not have a recycling container please contact the waste management team for fill in the online form below. It is now more important than ever that everybody recycles as much as they can. Find out more about the service by visiting the Household recycling pages
Duty of care warning
Householders face fines of £5,000 if they fail to take reasonable measures to ensure that their waste is dealt with properly. If waste is illegally dumped the householder can be prosecuted.
