
The Council provides 6,000 housing estate and privately owned blocks of high rise and low level flats with a recycling service. This service consists of two types of container.
Find your recyling collection day
The orange sack allows you to recycle some 'dry' household waste from your flat. Place the following items in the orange sack and place it outside your front door on your collection day by 7am
Please rinse bottles, jars and cans before putting them in the orange sack.
Please do not put the following materials in your orange sack:
Approximately 6000 residents are provided with a 25 litre brown food waste bin and 25 litre biodegradable bin liners. Please place the following items in the brown food waste bin, once it is full or it is put out for collection tie the bag up and leave outside your front door by 7am on the day of your collection. Please make sure the handle is in the forward locked position.
