The South London Waste Plan was submitted to the Secretary of State on 28 April 2011. The Examination-in-Public hearings were held from 12 to 19 July 2011, and followed by a consultation on the proposed changes to the plan arising from the hearings between 3 August and 20 September.

The Inspector will consider the representations received to the consultation and write his report. The Inspector's report is likely to be published in late October or early November.

The Proposed Submission version of the South London Waste Plan (SLWP 1.1) was the document which was published for representations between 4 January and 15 February 2011.
In light of the representations received, the boroughs proposed a number of amendments. These are listed in the Schedule of Proposed Minor Changes (SLWP1.11) and are annotated on an amended Proposed Submission version of the South London Waste Plan (SLWP 1.12).
