The South London Waste Plan, as amended by the binding Inspector’s Report, was adopted by the Council on 24 January 2012.
Following adoption, there is a six-week legal challenge period. Since Sutton was the last borough to adopt, on 5 March, the legal challenge period runs from 6 March to 17 April. Details of possible grounds for a legal challenge are given in the Adoption Statement (see below).
The South London Waste Plan is one of two Development Plan Documents within the Kingston Local Development Framework. It is in conformity with the Core Strategy, which is due to be adopted on 17 April.
