Proposals Map and Inset Map

What is a Proposals Map?
A Proposals Map illustrates on an Ordnance Survey base map of the borough, area and site-specific policies and development proposal sites in the Development Plan Documents.

It will show any saved area or site-specific policies in the Unitary Development Plan (2005) until such time as they are replaced by the Local Development Framework Development Plan Documents.

Further area detail will be shown on inset maps.

When will the Proposal and Inset Maps be prepared?
As Development Plan Documents are prepared the Unitary Development Plan Proposals Map and Insets will be updated accordingly. The following table summarises when we expect each Development Plan Document to be adopted.

DPD   Date of Adoption
Kingston Town Centre Area Action Plan   July 2008
Core Strategy   June 2010
