Cocks Crescent Development Brief
Introduction
The Council has produced a draft Development Brief to guide development proposals in the Cocks Crescent area of New Malden. It will replace the Council’s existing ‘Planning and Urban Design Brief’ for Cocks Crescent which was adopted in April 2003.
The draft Brief takes a wider approach than the existing brief and seeks to appoint a Development Partner to undertake the mixed-use development and enhancement of the site, local facilities and the environment, in addition to acting as a ‘material’ consideration in assessing future planning applications for the development of the site.
Consultation
The Council carried out a six week period of consultation on the draft Development Brief which ended on Friday 24 October 2008.
Next Steps
An analysis of all consultation results will be undertaken and the Development Brief will be amended to reflect comments as necessary.
