• Do I need Planning Permission to Erect a Fence, Gate or Wall?

You will need planning permission to erect a fence gate or wall if adjoining or adjacent to a highway and the fence/wall/gates are higher than 1 metre.  In all other cases 2 metres is the height limit before planning permission is needed.
