Latchmere Recreation Ground is a site covering an area of nearly 9 acres.
It has a large playground with a dog free zone. The playground has proven very popular with Latchmere School just across the road. The play equipment caters for the age group 3 to 14 years and also has some items that are suitable for children with disabilities. There are toilets on site and a pavilion which is shared with a privately run playgroup.
On Saturdays you will find the site full of young football hopefuls as it serves the Latchmere Little League Football Club. There are approximately 12 to 15 teams that stagger their games throughout the morning. The site is very popular with dog walkers and picnickers during the summer.
The K5 bus runs quite close to this site.
