Green Lane Recreation Ground is situated along the banks of the Hogsmill River and borders onto the railway embankment. It’s a site covering an area of just over 12.5 acres.
On site is a playground with a large selection of equipment which is very popular with children. The age range for the equipment is 3 to 14 years. There is a nature conservation area across the Hogsmill, which is home to a number of wildlife species and plants. The site is very good for impromptu sports for although there are no regular sized football posts in situ; there are some 5-a-side goals which have proved very popular.
