Dickerage Recreation Ground covers an area of nearly 5 acres and is bordered by the railway on one side and Dickerage Road on the other. To the north of the site are a garage and a parade of shops which serve the local community.
The mature poplars that shade the adventure playground in the height of summer dominate the site. The site is criss-crossed by paths and used as a cut through for families using The Mount Junior and Infant School on Dickerage Road.
The adventure playground is run by our Youth Service and is a very popular facility catering for children of all ages. New skateboard ramps and basketball facilities were installed in the summer of 2004 and are very popular with the older children. In fact, the playground is so popular it attracts kids from surrounding boroughs too! There is also on site supervision. More information can be accessed by the contacts listed below.
