Beverley Park is a large site covering an area of 17.5 acres. It has a very large popular playground with equipment suitable for children aged from 3 to 14 years old. It also has a dog free area with picnic tables. On site is a pavilion (currently leased), which is shared between sports clubs and the Learning Land Play Nursery.
A rose garden can be found in the southwest corner of the site and is best visited from June onward. In spring time the winter flowering bulbs form a carpet of colour and are well worth a visit.
Currently the site has two tennis courts with a third planned for 2005. A Pay and Display machine will be in use (similar to those used in car parks) and players will be urged to use it. On site there are also two football pitches and one cricket pitch.
The Beverley Brook forms the boundary between the Royal Borough of Kingston and Merton Council and just beyond the brook is the Beverley Park Golf Range. Beverley Allotments form the south-west boundary to the park. To the north-east and just beyond the tennis courts is a nature conservation area. The whole site is very popular with picnickers in the summer.
To the north-west of the site is a self managed allotment site, the land is owned by the council but leased to Beverley Allotments Association. For more details and plot availability call the number listed below.
There are public toilets attached at the rear of the pavilion.
Unfortunately there are no bus routes that run near this site.
