The Hogsmill News is put together to update local residents on the progress of the Hogsmill Valley Walk Strategy and the various projects (both Council and Hogsmill Action Group (HAG) projects) that are underway along the Hogsmill River. The newsletter is free to Kingston residents and is available in your local library or you can contact us and we’ll send you a copy!
It is an important communication tool between Kingston Council and an invaluable group of volunteers around the Hogsmill River. Our aim is to provide information about what is happening in this natural area in order to facilitate and encourage the use and enjoyment of open public spaces.
We are encouraging members of the Hogsmill Action Group and the general public to use this newsletter to help us raise the profile of this precious resource.
To help us to raise the profile you are welcome to send us ideas and articles to include in the newsletter and spread the voice by motivating friends and neighbours to take an active role in caring for the Hogsmill, or even just invite them to enjoy a nice relaxing walk along the river.
The newsletter also provides details of events along the Hogsmill, particularly clean up days in conjunction with the Hogsmill Action Group. If you’re planning a clean-up day or some other Hogsmill River event that you’d like to promote in the Hogsmill News please let us know!
