by entering yourself or nominating someone you know for a Green Guardian Award

The Green Guardian Awards return in 2008 rewarding individuals and organisations for doing their bit to protect the environment.  The awards are a unique partnership between boroughs in  South East and South West London and the Newsquest newspaper group with a weekly environment page in the local Guardian newspapers promoting local environmental news and initiatives as well as the awards.

Their are 8 categories in total, including:

   Green Champion
   Young Environmentalist
   Green Business
   Green Group or Project
   Green Building
   Green Secondary School
   Green Primary School
   Green Household   

The nominees need not be eco angels who have been green from birth!  They are for ordinary people, young and old, who are taking the trouble to go the extra mile to protect the environment.
