Before you carry out work to which the Building Regulations apply you must give us a relevant application. Whilst the law requires that this should be made no later than 2 working days before work starts on site, the more notice you can give us then the better the likelihood will be that we will be able to forewarn you of any potential difficulties.

The amount we charge varies depending on the type of work you intend to carry out, although the total amount which you pay will be the same whether you give us either Full Plans or a Building Notice. Cheques should be made payable to Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.
