Feedback on Our Services

We welcome comments and compliments about our services.  Some of the ways we are working have come from parents’ suggestions. We want to be helpful and efficient.

Complaints

We will respond to your complaint within 10 working days.

  • we will explain any decision
  • we will always tell you when you have a right to appeal against our decision
  • we are willing to go to conciliation

Conciliation

Sometimes there is disagreement about the description of a child’s needs, the way help is given, or the school their child should go to.

You can ask us to arrange for a conciliation meeting, sometimes called ‘Mediation’.  The mediator is an independent person who is trained in problem solving.  Conciliation does not affect your right to appeal.
