Two proposals were received for running the proposed new secondary school due to open in the north of the Borough in September 2015. The proposals were published on 10 September 2010. These proposals were from The Kingston Educational Trust - a partnership between the Local Authority, Kingston College and Kingston University and The Southwark Diocesan Board of Education.

• The Kingston Educational Trust proposes that a new Foundation School with a Charitable Foundation is established
• The Southwark Diocesan Board of Education proposes that a new Voluntary Aided Church of England School is established

Comments could be made on the proposals received from 10 September to 22 October 2010. A public meeting was held on Friday 24 September 2010. Both prospective school providers were in attendance  to present their bid and to answer questions from the audience. A copy of the two presentations as well as an introductory presentation given at the meeting have been attached below.

Thank you to all those who made comments on the new secondary school proposals. The decision on who will provide the school will be made by the Independent Office of the Schools Adjudicator. The latest information will be made available on these school expansion pages.
