We asked for your views on the initial design plans for each of the schools listed below. The consultation ran from 17 May 2010 to 4 June 2010.
Open meetings were held at the schools (please see list below) for local residents to have a look at the emerging plans for accommodation changes at the schools and to give their views. The plans were also available in libraries, neighbourhood meetings and copies of the plans were posted to residents on request.
The designs have taken into account guidance provided by the Department for Education. Please find the link at the bottom of this page.
Please note that this consultation did not form part of the formal planning process but gave local residents the opportunity to find out more about the emerging plans and submit their views.
Plans will be finalised after this pre-application consultation. Once the planning applications have been submitted residents living near to these schools will be contacted by the Council’s planning department as part of the formal statutory planning consultation process. The planning applications will be reported to the Neighbourhood Committees in September for comment and will be determined by the Council’s Development Control Committee in September and October 2010.
