
If your child is starting at a secondary school in September 2009 you will have needed to apply for a place between 1 September 2008 and 24 October 2008.
If your child is starting at a primary school or junior school in September 2009 you will have needed to apply for a place between 13 October 2008 and 5 December 2008.
The closing date for receipt of secondary school applications was 24 October 2008 and for primary and junior school applications was 5 December 2008.
Please contact School Admissions for further information if you have not yet applied for a secondary, primary or junior school place for September 2009.
Following increased demand for admission to the Reception year in 2009 the Council has increased the number of places in ten schools in response to parents' preferences.
A total of 300 additional places have been added and this includes the 5 extra classes which were announced in the autumn term.
