SACRE development plan
The Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE) has a 3-year Development Plan covering the period October 2004-October 2007. This plan covers five development areas (which represent five key action areas in which the SACRE will undertake its responsibilities):
- Review of the Kingston RE Agreed Syllabus
- RE in schools
- Partnership working
- Collective worship
- Spiritual, moral, social and cultural development (including promotion of inter faith harmony).
The SACRE reviews progress on its Development Plan three times a year, at meetings held every term.
