About Kingston Music Service (KMS)

KMS began life in 1986 as the Kingston Music Service in order to safeguard and enhance music education within the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. There has been a steady increase in the number and scope of the activities since that time. Today KMS provides instrumental and vocal music tuition for more than two thousand young people in schools and music centres and in addition, manages the recording studio at the Hook Centre.

KMS is a non-profit making organisation which receives funding from the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames and the Department for Education. KMS is a member of the Federation of Music Services.

Kingston Music Service (KMS) aims to enrich the lives of young people within the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames by providing opportunities for them to become actively involved in a wide variety of music activities.

KMS is also supported by ABC Music who kindly provide sponsorship for events and our practice notebooks.

Online Payments

You can pay online for music tuition, activities and instrumental hire.

Follow the "Pay KMS Online" link below to pay your invoice online. You will need both the student number and invoice number which can be found on your invoice.

Payment by credit card is subject to an surcharge of approximately 1.04% (depending on the card used). There is no additional charge for payment by debit card.
