As part of the Families Information Service, the Childcare Access Officer (CAO) delivers an Outreach Service to the community, taking Families Information Service (FIS) information, including up to date Tax Credits and Working Tax Credits information. She can also give guidance on a number of childcare issues and information on different forms of childcare that are available, 3 and 4 year old funding and ways of returning to work.
The CAO also delivers information to members of the community via black, minority and ethnic (BME) groups with a focus on hard to reach groups. Parent and Toddler groups are attended as well as community events across the borough.
Please see below for a list of events and Children's Centres the Outreach officer will be attending throughout the summer months. This list is updated regularly, so do keep returning for updates on events and groups that will be attended.
