Train to Gain Programme Information
Who can apply?
Client group
- People employed in administrative, clerical or customer service related fields who want to improve career prospects and gain recognition of skills through the achievement of a first vocational qualification at Level 2
- Candidates should be aged 19+ and undertaking work at Level 2
- Application for programme through employer
Eligibility
- Competent at Level 1
- Hold less than 5 GCSEs grades A-C
- No Level 2 equivalent qualification held
When would I attend?

Attendance
- NVQ delivered in work place with release for centre-based training support and literacy or numeracy examinations as required

Assessment
- Assessment of skills in the work place
- Underpinning knowledge guidance and assessment
- NVQ portfolio building
- Progress and feedback reviews

- IT User NVQ (ITQ) Level 2
- Business & Administration NVQ Level 2
- Customer Service NVQ Level 2
Plus, where appropriate
- Certificate in Adult Numeracy Levels 1 & 2
- Certificate in Adult Literacy Level s 1 & 2
