Kingston Adult Education's Art courses include Chinese Brush Painting, General Drawing and Painting, Exploring Abstract Painting, Experimental Drawing and Painting, Drawing the Human Figure, Portraiture, Watercolour and Oil Painting. You will learn how to compose a picture, the use of perspective, proportion, gain general observational skills and development of techniques.
We also have an Art History course.

Accredited courses available in Creative Skills are City and Guilds level 1 Award in Interior Design and a level 2 Certificate in Soft Furnishings and Interior Design. We offer non-accredited courses in Stained Glass, Book Binding, Creative Embroidery and Machine Embroidery, Soft Furnishing, Making Clothes, Introduction to Pattern Cutting, Tassel Making (Passementerie), Upholstery and Spinning and Weaving.
There are courses from beginners to intermediate and advanced. Learn traditional and modern techniques to professional standard. Additional costs will be incurred for materials used on most courses.
