
ITEC Professional Level Courses
ITEC qualifications are internationally recognised, allowing you to work with confidence and skill in a professional environment.
Professional qualifications allow practitioners access to professional insurance and the support of a Professional Body.
Requirements
ITEC’s Entry Requirements are five GCSE’s or equivalent. Please also check pre-requisites before enrolling on post-graduate or combined courses. Learners may be asked to complete a literacy assessment as part of induction. Level 3 – Beginners to the subject, but working to ‘A’ level standard (equivalent to NVQ3, Advanced GNVQ, BTEC).

Additional Information
KAE provides some course books, vegetable bases and essential oils for use during class time which are included in the course fees.
Learners will incur additional costs on these courses for:
- Essential Oils, Vegetable Oils and bases for use outside of class
- Examination fees
- Professional clothing and shoes
- Learner Insurance
- Towels & pillows
- Stationary & pens
- Recommended books or charts
- Couches and cover
- Classes are open to both male and female applicants. In order to gain professional perspective learners are expected to actively participate in all practical sessions.
- To gain accreditation, completion of extensive practical case studies is required for all ITEC courses. Case studies are completed outside of class time.
- Learners will need to allow time outside of class for further study e.g. theory, preparing for examinations and developing practical skills.

Each ITEC Examination usually comprise between one and three
multiple choice theory papers, as well as a
practical examination and
presentation of case studies to the practical examiner.
90% attendance is required for completion of this course.
ALS – additional learning support is available to learners in the EU. Financial help may also be available to some EU learners.
