These courses will develop learner skills in caring for children and providing for their physical, intellectual, social and emotional needs.  These qualifications provide opportunity for employment in a variety of childcare settings such as playgroups, pre-schools, nurseries, creches, out of school clubs and holiday play schemes.

All courses require learners to undertake a work placement for a minimum number of hours or to be already employed in a childcare setting.
