People who are unemployed or in voluntary work, between the ages of 19-64, seeking a progression route to employment and/or Level 2 training.
- Course duration 12 weeks
- Monday to Friday between 9.30 am and 3.15 pm
- Up to 15 hours per week – attendance usually 3 days a week

- Work experience taster (optional)
- Job search skills, interview practise, CV design, job application support
- NOCN Level 1 Award /Certificate in IT Users (ITQ) level 1

- Progression onto basic skills adult numeracy and literacy courses
- Progression onto other adult learning courses
- Free tuition – small fee to cover exam board fee.
- Identification of literacy and numeracy support needs

- Access to free guidance and help from the Information, Advice and Guidance Officer
- Assessment for course suitability runs every 4 weeks with all year round start dates
