Citizenship

Citizenship courses are open to anybody who is interested in knowing more about British life and culture.  The Citizenship course is an enjoyable and informative course designed to give you an outline of the main aspects of how the main democratic and English legal systems work, something of the British history and to affirm the contribution each and every citizen can make to society.  You will learn something of the landscape, culture and language of the ‘four countries’ that make up the United Kingdom and look at some towns and cities that are of historical interest.  KAE is a Home Office approved Centre for those who intend to apply for UK Citizenship.  There is a fee for this course.

New for 2011-12

Are you receiving either Job Seekers Allowance or Employment Support Allowance? Looking for a job? Why not enrol for the 15 hours a week intensive English course? This course includes CV writing, Job Search skills, Interview Techniques and IT.   This course is FREE to people on active benefits.  You will attend classes every morning at the  North Kingston Centre. An interview will be required. (This course is also open to people not on active benefits but there is a course fee payable.  Ask at the office for further details).
