Standard Grant Conditions
All grants awarded are subject to agreement of the following standard conditions:
- Use the grant only for the purpose for which it was awarded.
- Complete a grant monitoring form about your use of the grant (no future grant will be paid until outstanding monitoring forms from previous grants have been returned).
- Operate with a commitment to Equal Opportunities issues in relation to workers, volunteers and users.
- Comply with the Local Government Act 1986 (Section 2), which prohibits local authorities from giving funding or assistance to others to publish material that appears to influence people’s support for a political party.
- Tell us if your organisation either closes or does not operate for any significant period during the grant aid year
In addition to the above, we sometimes include other special conditions to a grant award, for example, to ensure that a group operates in accordance with good practice for working with children and young people and other vulnerable people.
We also request that the Borough’s financial support be acknowledged in any publicity material that relates to an award and in any press release with wording such as:
“Funded by the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames”
