What records do Kingston Register Office hold?

What is the cost of a copy certificate from Kingston Register Office

From 1st April 2012 the fees for certificates are:

Short certificate of birth £10.00

Standard certificate of birth £10.00

Marriage certificate £10.00

Death certificate £10.00

Searching the Indexes

You can make searches through our indexes, by prior appointment only, for a fee of £18.00.

What if I am not sure where the birth, death or marriage took place?

A full set of indexes for the whole of England and Wales can be found at the following places:

Please remember that the above places only hold the indexes and it is not possible to obtain certificates from them. They may however provide Internet access to the General Register Office online certificate ordering service where you can purchase certificates quoting the reference number found in the indexes.
