Newent House is home for 35 people. There are three bedrooms for people on respite, a popular option. All bedrooms are single.
The home is staffed 24 hours a day by assistant managers and care officers including a full-time Activities Officer, who organises a range of activities and outings.
Currently Philomena Gibson is the Deputy Manager in charge of the residential section.
There are a full range of support services, including cooking, cleaning and laundry. Residents are fully encouraged to live an independent life, with visitors always welcome. Several residents visit local shops or are members of local clubs, and can go further afield if they wish to.
All referrals for permanent and respite places are done through a care manager.
