Newent - Events and Activities
The emphasis for all activities is keeping the lives of our residents and day centre users fulfilled and busy, for those that wish to participate. Residents and day centre users choose what activities are on offer, so while we offer a range it is up to participants to decide what they want to do. We will look to celebrate events from across the UK and the world and develop links within the Kingston area.
We subscribe to the philosphy of the Eden Alternative™, which is a philosphy based around enhancing and empowering older people within a care home setting. For more details please see below.
As a general plan our list of activities include:

We encourage friends and families to join in activities and events. Please see the table below for our current weekly activities. This is always open to change as residents can choose what they like to do and also it does not take into account trips out and special events. Spontaneity is very much part of activities.
