Newent Day Centre
The Day Centre at Newent offers you a seven-day-a-week service throughout the year.
Diane Gibson is the Deputy Manager in the centre assisted by an assistant manager and a team of Day Care Officers.
A whole range of services are provided with personal care during the day, various activities and outings, as well as bathing, access to district nurses and an on-site hairdresser. A three-course meal is also provided at lunch time as are tea and biscuits and cold refreshments - there is also a private bar for their use.
A wide range of packages are catered for, being based on the individual needs of each service user. These are worked out with the client, the relevant care manager, families and staff. All referrals to the service have to come through a care manager.
Prices vary according to service provided.
We are closely connected with the Residential Centre and participate in many joint activities.
