We manage four resource centre for older people within the borough.
In the last couple of years all four homes have undergone a variety of changes to reflect the commitment to service that Community Care Services has to older people within the borough.
Amy Woodgate Home
This is a specialist residential and day centre unit on Kingston Hill in 2008 will be moving to a new purpose-built site in Chessington.
Hobkirk House
Hobkirk House is close to New Malden High Street and is the specialist nursing home, run by Kingston Council.
Murray House
Murray House is a residential unit in North Kingston, within walking distance of the town centre. Its day centre is now run by Milaap as a centre of Asian older people. It is also the centre for the borough's meals on wheels service.
Newent House
Newent House is in Surbiton and quite close to the mainline station. It has a separate day centre It can cater for those with high dependency.
While all four homes are very separate, they do frequently join up for activities, events and outings.
