The Malden Centre, Blagdon Road, New Malden, offers a unique combination of leisure and learning facilities all under one roof. Check out the special Over 50's mornings with reduced rates for fitness facilities - gym, swimming pool, fitness classes and racquets sessions. Local led walks offer individuals the chance to improve their health by taking regular exercise and get out and meet people. Walks, led by trained volunteers, are organised across the borough of Kingston and generally take between 30-60 minutes. The walks are tailored to the needs of the walkers and there are some that are suitable for disabled people.

The walk along the Hogsmill River in Kingston is approximately 7km long and should take about 3 hours to complete. The Hogsmill is a chalk stream which is formed in the North Downs, rising to ground level in Ewell and joining the Thames in Kingston. The walk will take you through urban countryside, along wide grassy paths and finally to into open fields, following the course of the river most of the way.

Guided walks around Kingston take place every Sunday between April and September and once a month during the rest of the year. This schedule includes a monthly themed walk. Guided walks around Surbiton take place every 2 weeks between May and September.
